The San Francisco Japan Town (Nihonmachi) Cherry Blossom festival took place the last two weeks. I decided to go on the last Saturday. I had a great time, I really was going to just go shopping for Morning Musume's Platinum 9 album, but a friend mentioned to me that the festival was going on. I did in fact score Platinum 9 even in first print! I also picked up the Naichau Kamo single with DVD. I had to fight through quite the bit of crowds though, I've never seen the place so crowded, at least there was plenty of cute girls to look at. Unfortunately I didn't give myself time to indulge in any of the traditional music or performances out in the peace plaza, but I did get to eat the omnipotent festival food that is "Tokiyaki". The car show was decent, I wish I had my corolla there to show off. Honestly I was jealous of those guys, hahaha. The whole atmosphere was great, and I will definatley be going back next year.
