Another busy weekend.

Heh, for someone who doesn't do much social activity I was pretty busy this weekend! Friday through Sunday is really the only days I work (I hope I can get more hours there somehow) I ended up going racing on Saturday it was fun, but I guess I forgot how to drive the car properly! I had the mentality to get up high in second gear and stay in it, but that wasn't the case. By the end of the first race by engine was HOT and it was not cooling down. Me and my dad figured third gear was the way to go. When I went back out for the second race I got up into third gear and stayed high and third. I did pretty good, but didn't place well.

After all that we evaluated my loss. The first thing is my lack of experience, this is my second dirt oval race (Before I did some road racing and drifting) Most of the other drivers have a good number of races under their belt. The second thing is that the other drivers have "Quick Steer" and properly tuned cars. Our RX3 has a road racing tuned suspension; I wish I could explain how rough my ride is in the corners. And of course the last thing, I just need to practice more, a few more races and I should be placing middle pack or better! I hope so!

After the race I got home pretty late, around 1AM. So I just took a shower and crashed. I had to be up for work the next day anyway. Work the next day was pretty average, I was expecting a pay check but I guess there is none, its been over two weeks now. I'm down to $5.00! At the end of the day during closing I got my finger stuck in the employees only door, it was in there for almost thirty seconds! It seems to be ok now, its a little numb on the tip and the nail is purple in the middle. But I can move it and type so for me its ok!
